The game is an old classic, and for those who like homm & civilization sagas, its a must have. From PCGamingWiki, the wiki about fixing PC games Eador: Genesis. Its true that classical save system on eador genesis makes the game hard and for hardcore games thats ok, but i believe more people could join the eador genesis player community and revive it, with a new option activated wich should allow the player when he starts a new game to choose between to play in the "classical save" system and a "save whenever" system. Commander hereos get their portraits replaced by actors including Sean Connery and Jim Carrey FFS Not to mention unbalanced and overcomplicated new mechanics. Also, the mod totally takes away the atmosphere.
Sadly for me, Eador Genesis doesnt have the option to save the game whenever you want (im one of those who likes to save and after some time i like to replay choices possibilities in some break point instead starting a new game). Of course theres a point on Eador Imperium ahead the others, and its the chance to play on sandbox, so that means the ai keeps on his province the whole map, so the player its allowed to explore whole map without keeping a hero army around enemy main province to kill the enemy hero each time he respawn or to keep armies to defend those provinces around his castle, etc.
